Hey all, a few weeks ago I copy edited the entire article and removed duplicate content from the lead. This was done in about ~20 diffs. These were mass-reverted by an IP user citing "Unnecessary mass removal by a user". However, only one of my ~20 diffs (this one) involved significant deletion of non-duplicated content. I have since restored my edits twice but they keep getting reverted again, by what I think may be the same user hopping across IP ranges. I have tried to collaborate with this user in multiple edit summaries [1], [2] and well as on one of their talk pages [3] but they haven't responded.
Ugh, I was hoping to avoid that because I think this is a user that has been disruptively using many IP addresses, some of which, including the one that first reverted my updates, have recently been blocked. Which will make the ANI filing difficult for me as a newer editor. But ok, I can take it to ANI. If you think the user's most recent reversion was inappropriate could you revert it? That will help the ANI filing to show that I pursued other options and am not in one-on-one dispute with this IP editor. NicheSports (talk) 17:34, 17 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The IP editor is back making the same reversion from a different IPv4 range. I've notified the previous blocking admin - do you think we should request semi protection on this page?
