Orphan tag

[edit]

I am pleased to see this biography was accepted at Articles for Creation. However, there are now two warning banners at the top of the entry I'd like to address. I'll start with the "orphan" tag.

Jan Jenisch can be linked at the following pages:

Can an editor please link the subject's name in these articles, so the "orphan" tag can be removed? I don't think this is a controversial proposal, but I avoid editing the main space because of my COI. Thanks in advance for any help, Inkian Jason (talk) 12:57, 14 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@KylieTastic: I am putting this request on your radar, since you added the orphan template. Are you able to add these links? Thank you, Inkian Jason (talk) 13:09, 14 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Inkian Jason thanks for the ping. I do think anyone would care about simple linking with a COI, at least when the original is sourced. The Holcim Group claim was not sourced, but I added one. So linked and tag removed. Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 14:40, 14 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@KylieTastic Thank you! I will close this edit request. Inkian Jason (talk) 14:42, 14 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

"Paid contributions" tag

[edit]

Next, I'd like to address the "paid contributions" tag, which says the article "may require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies, particularly neutral point of view". I would invite User:Gheus, who added the tag but also removed a significant amount of content from the draft, to clarify if any problematic text remains. I've worked to draft accurate and neutral content based on reliable sources and would like to see the warning banner removed once any concerns are addressed. The documentation for this template says, "Like the other neutrality-related tags, if you place this tag, you should promptly start a discussion on the article's talk page to explain why you tagged the article. If you do not start this discussion, then any editor is justified in removing the tag without warning." Gheus, can you please confirm if the current biography has any non-neutral or otherwise problematic text? Thanks again for reviewing this draft and taking the page live. Inkian Jason (talk) 13:06, 14 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Done It looks to me as though the article was cleaned up, and I don't think it requires any further cleanup and have therefore removed the tag. Encoded  Talk 💬 07:48, 16 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Image request

[edit]

I have uploaded a photograph of the subject at Wikimedia Commons: File:Jan Jenisch.jpg.

The permissions for the image have been reviewed by a Volunteer Response Team (VRT) member. Could an editor update the Wikipedia entry (preferably the infobox) with this more recent photograph? I avoid editing the main space because of my COI. @ARandomName123: I am putting this request on your radar since you assisted with similar requests for Michael Sheehan and Songyee Yoon.

Thanks in advance for any help! Inkian Jason (talk) 13:54, 17 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@ARandomName123 Could I trouble you with one more (in my opinion) equally non-controversial request? I noticed the third External link ("Jan Janisch at Holcim") is no longer active, which makes sense given recent operational changes. Would you be willing to replace this link with the equivalent at Amrize?
If you would prefer I submit a formal COI edit request, that's not a problem. Either way, thanks again for your help! Inkian Jason (talk) 14:43, 23 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
