Replacing dead and commercial links with authoritative sources
I am updating the references in this article to improve source reliability. Specifically, Reference 11 (Utilities One) was a broken link/404 and lead to a commercial blog. I have replaced it with an official guide from Energy.gov regarding energy-efficient home design and smart technology.
I plan to continue auditing the remaining links to ensure they meet Wikipedia’s "Reliable Sources" (RS) guidelines, prioritizing government and academic citations over commercial retail blogs.
