Potential Conflict of Interest, attempt to place non-notable scientific concepts on Wikipedia
[edit]Hi Cosmohypotheses, I would like to ask you politely to stop trying to publish the articles related to Maxwell's Four Hypotheses onto Wikipedia. There are several reasons why; firstly, the book itself is not notable, so it is audacious to attempt to make articles for the concepts within the book. The book is not notable because it has not received any reviews, has no discussion in reliable independent sources and therefore does not have any standing to be made into a Wikipedia article. The concepts discussed within the book are not backed up with peer reviewed publication, and the author is not recognised or notable in their own right (Maxwell Starwhisper). I do not have a copy of the book, but my initial impression is that the concepts themselves range from unoriginal to being too broad to disprove to being truly outrageous as someone with formal education in Space Physics. I have therefore to dismiss such claims as being pseudoscientific and relying partially on Maxwell's (James Clerk Maxwell's) name to convey a degree of legitimacy. The references are not relevant to the articles, in fact discussing things that are completely different and that do have their own articles, such as Quantum entanglement and Dark Matter. Good luck in promoting your book to people without a formal scientific education, but these things do not belong on Wikipedia. If the book becomes notable, someone may make a new article for it. However, it is ambitious to pass it off as a serious scientific publication unless the reception from qualified cosmologists is significantly more positive than I expect it to be.
