  1. ^ a b c d e f g h i j k The consonants /b, t͡s, d, ɡ, h, l, ɲ, ɾ, d͡z/ cannot appear at the end of a word, though /b, d, ɡ, l/ can appear at the end of a syllable if it is geminate, i.e. the next sound is the same consonant.
  2. ^ a b /t͡s d͡z/ can become /t͡ʃ d͡ʒ/ before /e i/.
