[edit]Editor’s note to reviewer (June 13th 2025 submission):
This revised draft has been comprehensively rewritten since prior versions, fully addressing all earlier reviewer concerns regarding notability, sourcing depth, and tone.
Notability is now clearly established across multiple domains:
- WP:GNG: Coverage in major independent sources (People, NME, Entertainment Weekly, MassLive, American Songwriter, The Source, HipHopDX, CBC Music, BBC Radio, SiriusXM, academic publications).
- WP:MUSICBIO: Charting success (CBC national hip hop chart, HipHopGods Top 20), collaborations with globally recognised artists, multiple albums cited in best-of-year lists, international releases.
- WP:PROF: Cited peer-reviewed academic scholarship; thesis referenced in multiple international journals and books; included on university reading lists.
Depth and diversity of sourcing substantially exceed minimum notability thresholds. All prior concerns about source reliability have been addressed — deprecated or marginal sources have been removed or replaced. Remaining niche sources are used appropriately for minor points.
The article’s structure and lead closely follow established model articles for hip hop producers (DJ Premier, Pete Rock, The Alchemist, Prince Paul).
Tone is neutral and encyclopedic throughout, with no promotional content.
Accordingly, I respectfully submit this draft with prior concerns addressed and notability demonstrated, and request mainspace evaluation under the applicable criteria (WP:GNG, WP:MUSICBIO, WP:PROF).
Thank you for your time and consideration. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Enigmainkwell (talk • contribs) 15:19, 13 June 2025 (UTC)
