Draft:Vimosh Venugopal

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  • Comment: The draft does not claim any notability (please note that an entry in a book of records does not make a person notable), and there are no independent, reliable sources. bonadea contributions talk 16:02, 31 October 2025 (UTC)
  • Comment: Now that at least some of the citations have been properly placed inline, we can evaluate that they are mostly just links to YouTube videos where people have reposted Venugopal's song. This does not make him notable. His other achievements (banker, author, memorizer of pi) also do not make him notable. Unless there is evidence that other people have taken the time to write about Venugopal in depth, he won't qualify for a Wikipedia article. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 11:47, 31 October 2025 (UTC)
  • Comment: Please use INLINE citations to show which claims are supported by which references GGOTCC 05:45, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
  • Comment: Adding non-reliable sources to the end of the draft is not helpful. Please read this guide to help you and please do not resubmit before a full rewrite using inline citations. cyberdog958Talk 21:32, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
  • Comment: "Inline citations" means that the citation (the contents of the .<ref></ref> tag) must immediately follow the information that is verified by that citation. A list of references at the end of the article does not help to verify the content of the article. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:14, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
  • Comment: Thank you for submitting your draft.

In a biographic article all biographic statements (starting with the date of birth) must be accompanied by an in-line citation to a reliable, published source.

Please add in-line citations to every biographic statement by following the tutorial at Help:Introduction to referencing with VisualEditor. The biographic policy, which you should also carefully read, can be found at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons.

Once you have added in-line citations, you can re-submit this draft for review.

Let me know if you have any questions, be either replying to this post on your Talk Page, or leaving me a message on my Talk Page. qcne (talk) 19:01, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
