This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Comment: Colbran might just about have some sort of stability as a footballer. I see nothing else. Social media alleged personalities are ten a penny. WP:ROTM. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 17:24, 13 March 2025 (UTC)
Early Life and Career
Simple Simon, born Simon Colbran in May 1970, grew up with a passion for football. He played professionally in Germany for TuS Celle FC and semi-professionally in the UK he played for Eastbourne Town FC during the 1988–89 season, making three appearances. After his playing days were over, he moved into coaching, managing several football teams including Langney Wanderers F.C., Horsham, Crowborough Athletic, and Worthing FC. Outside of football, Simon also ran a hotel and spa in East Sussex for eight years before selling the businesses and retiring. However, his quiet life was short-lived, thanks to his daughter, Keeley, who introduced him to TikTok. Simon is a young man with a diagnosis of Schizophrenia and a history of difficulties with substance misuse. He spent several years of his life homeless after multiple housing schemes evicted him, and his family could no longer cope having him in the family home.
Rise to Social Media Fame Simon joined TikTok in December 2021 under the handle @simple.simon.8, and quickly became a fan favourite thanks to his funny and relatable content. His videos, which include everything from dance trends to comedic sketches, resonated with people. One of his biggest hits featured him dancing shirtless in the cold, a video that racked up over 2 million views. Simon's TikTok presence continued to grow, and he gained a loyal following for his unfiltered, lighthearted approach to life. He also maintains a strong presence on Instagram, where he shares personal moments and lifestyle content. As of March 2025, he has about 87,000 followers on the platform.
Personal Life Simon’s daughter Keeley played a key role in his social media journey, introducing him to the world of TikTok. Keeley herself is active on social media, and her influence helped Simon find his place on the platform. Outside of his online life, Simon is known for being open about mental health. He regularly engages with his followers on the topic, offering advice and support to those who may be struggling as he has had a past of substance abuse and mental health problems which he has since overcame.
In July 2022, Simon stepped into the boxing ring for a match against fellow influencer Ed Matthews at the Indigo at The O2 Arena in London. Despite being in his early 50s, Simon's fitness and training impressed many, proving that age was just a number for him.
