[edit]SD Worx is a company that provides HR and Payroll solutions across Europe to businesses ranging from small and medium-sized companies to large multinational corporations. SD Worx calculates the salaries of around 6 million employees and operates in 27 countries. The company was founded in 1945 in Belgium as a as a payroll service provider. In 2025, the company had 10.000 employees. SD Worx now ranks among the top-5 HR solution providers worldwide.
History
[edit]SD Worx as grown from a Belgian company into a European player. Over the years, the company has expanded its geographic footprint through a series of acquisitions and organic growth.
In 2021, SD Worx expanded into Spain, Poland, Italy, and the Nordics[1]. That same year, it became the majority shareholder in Teal Partners, a digital transformation firm, and acquired launch!, increasing its SAP offering.
In 2022, SD Worx took a majority stake in Huapii[2], a talent management platform. It also acquired HRPRO [3], Intelligo [4], and IntegHro [5].
In 2023, SD Worx acquired Gavdi Poland, SoftMachine, and Romanian Software[6]. These moves positioned SD Worx as a billion-euro revenue company. The company also increased its presence in Ireland, Romania, Croatia, and the Adriatic region, and welcomed CVC as a minority shareholder.[7]
In 2024, SD Worx acquired F2A [8], a leading Italian HR and payroll provider, expanding into southern Europe.
Leadership
