[edit]Muhammad Ijaz is a Pakistani public policy researcher, Young Development Fellow at the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, and a published academic in governance and public administration.
Early Life and Education
[edit]Muhammad Ijaz was born in Narowal, Pakistan. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, with a specialization in Development, Planning, and E-Governance. He is currently pursuing an MPhil in Government and Public Policy at National Defence University, Islamabad.
Career
[edit]Ijaz has worked with various government bodies and policy institutions in Pakistan. He contributed to the State Bank of Pakistan’s digital finance initiative RAAST, interned at the Public-Private Partnership Authority, and served in key roles at the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives. As a Young Development Fellow, he has been involved in major national level initiatives, including the URAAN Pakistan and STED (Science technology and engineering for development).
