Dr. Mara Guler is a Romanian doctor and ultramarathon runner. She has national records and best performances in ultramarathon distances on 6-hour, 12-hour, 24-hour, 48-hour, and 6-day runs in Romania. She was 6th at the IAU 24 Hour World Championship in 2023 in Taipei, Taiwan. She broke Romanian national records 8 times. She started running in 2014 after 20 years of study. She is a raw vegan, and she loves CrossFit and gardening as well.^[1]

Education

Mara Guler graduated as a medical doctor from the Victor Babeș University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Timișoara in 2001. She got the doctoral degree with a thesis entitled "Diagnostic and treatment în radiotheraphy in radiography and imagistic discipline." She graduated as a pharmacologist at the University of Oradea in 2012.^[2]
