Comment: See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Firepower Records. If you want this draft to be accepted, you need to address the issues raised at that discussion with more edits to this version. At the state this draft is in, this would be deleted per WP:G4. I have also reverted your attempt at Datsik (musician) for the same reasons. Jalen Barks (Woof) 18:14, 2 July 2025 (UTC)
Comment: @JalenBarks: Says the guy who nominated Never Say Die Records and PRMD Music for speedy deletion and got DECLINED twice because it wasn't "substantially identical to the deleted version" - WP:G4. I'm willing to bet you've never bothered to look at the archive of the former article to see if it does. Otherwise, have a seat before you run your mouth.

Firepower Records is an American independent electronic music record label well-known for releasing Bass music, Dubstep, and trap music tracks. The label was home to artists such as Bear Grillz, Getter, Protohype, and Terravita.
History
[edit]Firepower was founded in January 2012 by Canadian DJ and music producer Datsik in Los Angeles.[1][2] According to former co-owner and label manager Sharra Grace Duggan, Datsik started the label to accommodate the increasing and burdensome quantity of music submissions he received from new and established artists, and to provide a place for them "to put music out that [Datsik] was really feeling and inspired by" and "that their opinions and ideas were important and not just pushed aside".[3][4][5]
In August 2012, Datsik announced the "Firepower R3cords tour": a several-month long music tour comprising of artists signed to the record label that performed in cities all across the United States to promote the new label.[6] Four months later, the label partnered with Ultra Music Festival to showcase a mix, DJ'd by Datsik, consisting of the label's current discography.[7]
By January 2014, the label was able to frequently release records at a weekly basis, instead of releasing a record once or twice a month. According to Duggan, Firepower would take a minority amount of royalty payments, while the majority amount goes towards the artists. Datsik would often get the final say. By 2015, the label received and reviewed hundreds of tracks per week.[2][3]
In 2016, Firepower was nominated as one of the fifteen record labels, by UKF for "push[ing] hard to find new talents, sounds and ideas and encourage new perspectives and fusions."[8]
In March 2018, Datsik stepped down from Firepower Records, and relinquished control and operations over to Duggan (or delegated to members of the label's personnel) amid numerous sexual misconduct allegations.[9][10] One week later, the record label announced that it would donate all proceeds from Flatline Vol. 8, its upcoming compilation EP to anti-sexual assault organization RAINN.[11][12]
In July 2021, Datsik regained control and ownership of the label via the record label's recent filing to the Secretary of State of California. While the record label has not made any official announcement addressing its inactivity since its most recent release published on October 25, 2019, it hasn't legally dissolved via its recent filing, thus, making the label inactive instead.[13]
