Dave Lock
David Ortega, better known by his stage name Dave Lock, is a Mexican DJ and electronic music producer based in Mexico City.[1] He has been active in the underground music scene for over 25 years, starting his career in 1995.[1] Dave Lock is known for his versatile style, blending genres such as tech house, progressive house, techno, progressive trance, and breakbeat.[1]
Dave Lock has released numerous original tracks and remixes on various international labels, including Analog Data, Xela Digital, Bit Records Mexico, Smart Phenomena LTD, Saturo Sounds, 220v Recordings, and Airport Route Recordings.[1] His music is characterized by intense rhythms, intricate melodies, and a strong emphasis on groove.[1]
Throughout his career, Dave Lock has gained a dedicated following and has been supported by DJs around the world. He continues to explore new sonic territories and push the boundaries of electronic music.[1]
