Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Iraq

This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to Iraq. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.
- Adding a new AfD discussion
- Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
- Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
- You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Iraq|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
- There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
- Removing a closed AfD discussion
- Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
- Other types of discussions
- You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Iraq. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.
- Further information
- For further information see Wikipedia's deletion policy and WP:AfD for general information about Articles for Deletion, including a list of article deletions sorted by day of nomination.
This list is also part of the larger list of deletion debates related to Middle East.

Not yet notable per WP:MUSICBIO or WP:GNG. I could find no significant coverage in Arabic or English RS, just a few identical press releases for his planned recording with Mohamed Ramadan, and routine coverage of the concert he did in Dubai. The rest is social media. Arabic media tend to use "DJ Rony", but editors searching for coverage that I missed should please note that there's an unrelated Lebanese DJ called "DJ Rony Seikaly". A previous attempt by another editor was moved to Draft:DJ Rony, the day before this version was created, at Dj Ron'y for some reason. Wikishovel (talk) 07:03, 4 November 2025 (UTC)

Dear Wikipedia Editors, I would like to submit this objection regarding the proposed deletion of the article Rony Adnan Ifrim, as I believe the article meets Wikipedia’s notability guidelines for musicians and producers. Rony Adnan Ifrim is an American musician, music producer, and DJ who has performed at several international festivals and events. He is known for his unique style that blends various musical cultures and genres. These activities and appearances establish a verifiable public presence, making him a notable figure worthy of documentation on Wikipedia. The article is written in a neutral and objective tone, aiming to provide accurate and factual information about his artistic career rather than to promote it. However, the article can be further improved by adding independent and reliable sources to strengthen its references and overall quality. Therefore, I kindly request that the article be kept and improved, rather than deleted, in line with Wikipedia’s mission to provide comprehensive and verifiable encyclopedic content. | |

Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, ✗plicit 11:21, 11 November 2025 (UTC)- Delete: Poorly sourced AI generated stub that truly has no place here. At the very least, it is too soon. CabinetCavers (talk) 13:01, 11 November 2025 (UTC)
