Welcome to the Computer animation work group of WikiProject Animation! This group was formed to better organize articles on computer animation in a spirit of cooperation.
Scope
- This purpose of this project is to standardize the coverage of computer animation, including computer animated films, series, software and so on, as well as web animated series, films and flash cartoons within the Wikipedia. This includes deciding how pages should be formatted, which pages should and should not be created, designing templates, etc. This project is not yet completely defined, so feel free to make suggestions on the talk page. All of these articles should be contained within the Category:Computer animation or one of its subcategories.

Here are some tasks awaiting attention:
|
- Tag related articles.
- Find editors who have shown interest in this subject and ask them to take a look here.
- Identify articles for creation
- Identify articles for improvement
- Review importance and quality of existing articles
Importance scale
Importance | Criteria | Example |
---|---|---|
Top | This article is of the utmost importance to the project, as it provides key information about a major topic that is fundamental to a study of the subject. | Computer animation |
High | This article is very important to the project, as it covers either a general area of knowledge or provides information about a significant topic. | Finding Nemo |
Mid | This article is relatively important to the project, as it provides more specific knowledge of areas that a serious reader would need to understand. | Machinima |
Low | This article is significant but has limited importance to the project, as it expands the reader's overall knowledge of the subject into areas of general interest. | 3dvia |
Bottom | This article has no real significance to the project, but it covers additional topics of general or specific interest, some of which could be described as trivia, though all are notable in their own right. Others may be articles of high importance to another project that have an indirect connection with Computer animation. The category was created by the work group of WikiProject Animation to counter-balance "top importance" and to place "mid-importance" into the actual middle. In addition it serves to separate trivia from articles of low but significant importance. | Code Lyoko: Quest for Infinity |
NA | Subject importance is not applicable. Generally applies to non-article pages such as redirects, categories, templates, etc. | Category:Computer animation |
??? | Subject importance has not yet been assessed. | ??? |
Recognized content

If an article is missing from the list, make sure it is tagged or categorized (e.g. Category:Computer animation work group articles) correctly and wait for the next update. See WP:RECOG for configuration options. |
