Non-notable minor league baseball player. Hit .252 in his minor league career, which isn't that impressive. Yes, he managed, but managers are not inherently notable. He never even led any teams to the playoffs. Alex (talk) 03:23, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
- Keep. Was the subject of a lengthy 1987 Sports Illustrated profile that starts out by referring to him as "Baseball legend Billy Scripture". That does it for me, but there's several hundred additional hits at Google News[1][2] that also show that he passes WP:GNG--check out this one[3] or this one[4] as examples.--Arxiloxos (talk) 05:39, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
