The Graphics Lab is a project to improve the graphical content of the Wikimedia projects. Requests for image improvements can be added to the workshop pages: Illustrations, Photographs and Maps. For questions or suggestions one can use the talk pages: Talk:Graphics Lab, Talk:Illustrations, Talk:Photographs and Talk:Maps.
This specific page is the requests page for the Map lab. Anyone can make a request for an map to be create or improved for a Wikipedia article. The standard format for making a request is shown below, along with general advice, and should be followed.
For beginners mapmakers, notice that complete or improve a blank map using SVG format is pretty easy to do :). If need, you can download Inkscape on our /Software sub-page to get started. Map makers of all levels can also find helpful conventions and toolbox there.
The Map Workshop have recently open its doors. Also, we need your map requests ! Some requests can be found in the Archive or in Category:Wikipedia requested maps and can be brought forward to this page in order to be worked on.
