Extended confirmed protection: BLP policy violations – This page was previously protected due to BLP/GENSEX vios, but protection expired earlier this month. An IP has since returned to make mass pronoun changes again, so requesting a longer page protection timeframe (or even indef, as many other non-binary BLPs have received). - @Nil NZ: Is there an explanation somewhere regarding why it is a BLP problem to use standard she/her for someone who uses "they/them and she/her", according to the article? - @Johnuniq:They/them is what's used most recently in RS, and by the subject themself (even though they say they accept both).
- But I should have elaborated in my request that it's not just pronoun changes here, but also removing any mention of them being non-binary from the article as well. Nil🥝 07:22, 14 August 2025 (UTC)
- @Johnuniq There isn't consensus for how to address a subject that uses multiple sets of pronouns,(as far as I've seen, and I've looked pretty hard) though I personally tend to use whichever pronouns the subject lists first(in Victor's case, they/them). The problem in my eyes(on top of what @Nil NZ has described) is that these edits are only changing the pronouns and removing any mention of they/them. If any other constructive changes were made on top of that, I'd personally be less inclined to completely revert, but as it stands it seems like a pretty clear cut case of pronoun disruption.
