Need a microfilm from St Pancras, London (British Library)

I need a London resident willing to go to the British Library at St Pancras and scan the microfilm of a 1965 Evening Standard article.

(The article is not available on Newspapers.com; see my previous WP:RX request here [1].)

Relevant details:

  • Evening Standard
  • Title appears to be: "IT'S THE GHOST OF LILLIE LANGTRY - AS QUEER THINGS HAPPEN IN HER OLD HOME".
  • Date of the article is April 2, 1965.
  • One exact quote I've seen attributed several times to it is "Langtry's ghost appeared one day".

I need a copy of the article in full (it has been excerpted in at least one book and a few news articles), which is why I need the microfilm. I also need the page number.

@Luwanglinux: Why that page range? The matches are on pp. 45 and 46, and carefully searching Google Books ([2], [3]) and elsewhere ([4]) shows that the containing chapter is "Origin, Growth and Fall of the Moirang Principality in South Manipur Valley" by L. Basanti Devi on pp. 45-51. Should I request an interlibrary loan for this chapter, instead?

For Litha Musyimi-Ogana. Note on 1, Google source gives a range of issues: 1070-1162. I found the specific issue and article name here but I have no clue if the page number is the same. Also searching the google source, the issn given in the google book is 0294-6467 (the French version), but worldcat shows other numbers for English. For the 2nd one, I cannot find a version I can access from Mexico. Hathitrust verifies the page number but isn't open access and I can't find it on archive.org either.

But I think that may just be a preview with more behind a paywall—I’m specifically looking to check language in our entry cited to page 10 of the BMJ reference (here: Myalgic_encephalomyelitis/chronic_fatigue_syndrome#Severity) so I think there must be a much longer version. My university doesn't have this, but another public university in the same state does, so I should be able to get this easily through the consortium, whether as a scan of some pages or the full book in print.
From careful searching of Google Books, it looks like those pages are contained in chapter 12 "The Last Carriers" (pp. 245-267), so I've requested a scan of that chapter. If you contact me via Special:EmailUser, I'll send you the PDF once I receive it.
FYI, according to HathiTrust, "Hermes" is mentioned on 100 pages throughout the book, and "Centaur" is mentioned on 16 pages; you should be able to see the list of pages and how many occurences are on each page if you click on the links and then click on the search buttons.
Let me know if you'd like me to request any more scans, or to request the whole book to look through it myself.

It looks like OCLC 2246774, 85447201 (apparently both list the same holdings) exists in print at my university, so I'll look for it. It does list v. 81 (2000), but it apparently skips v. 78 (1997), which all but one of them are in...
I have access to GeoRef though my university's EBSCOhost, which indicates that these are part of the supplement, which I guess is less available... It also says that they're abstracts from the conference "American Geophysical Union 1997 fall meeting. San Francisco, CA, United States, Dec. 8-12, 1997", so I'll try requesting interlibrary loans from OCLC 31671675 if I can't find them in print here.

I also found that HathiTrust says that "volatiles in the most recent eruptions of Aniakchak Volcano, Alaska" appears on p. 276 of Eos v.81 no.48 2000, so I might try to look for that myself at some point.

Book chapter from acm.org

Even through Wikipedia Library claims to have ACM access, it does not appear to work (for me, at least).

For pl:Kosmiczni bracia which I hope to translate to English shortly after improving it on pl wiki. I need page(s) relevant to the Google Scholar excerpt: "At the end of the decade, Borun and Trepka also finished their “space trilogy” with the novel Kosmiczni bracia91 (Space Brothers), in which aliens depend on a gigantic planetary", although if possible, I'd appreciate the entire chapter.

Two sources for new deer species

For Pudella carlae.

From the Barrio, Gutiérrez & D'Elía paper, data on size of the described species is needed. Like height and weight, because currently we have rather imprecise "less than 17 inches" from Miami Herald.

As for El Mercurio, it would be great if someone with access/subscription will archive it on Web Archive without paywall.

It looks like the full-text for that one is available through the ResearchGate link I provided. Are you unable to access it, or do you not trust it to be accurate?
Meanwhile, I also found the following, mostly from searching my university's ProQuest subscription for (Sabancaya OR Ampato OR Coropuna) glaciation, but I know basically nothing about geology, so I'm not sure how useful they are:
If what you can access is insufficient, and there's any of these that you think might be relevant but you can't access in full (note: ProQuest appears to provide 24-page previews for at least some theses, at least if logged in via the Wikipedia Library), send me the links and let me know whether you can at least see the metadata. If not, I'll first send you the metadata so you can try to find it yourself. If you can't find a good way to access it, let me know and I'll send you the relevant parts.

Here's as much bibliographic information as I can find:
  • The title is Fluctuations glaciaires et téphrostratigraphie dans les montagnes intertropicales and the subtitle is une revue et application dans les Andes du Sud du Pérou (massifs des Nevados Ampato et Coropuna) (some citations have typos, especially in the subtitle, but these seem to be the consensus)
  • The date is 1999
  • The author is S. Lamadon (probably Sébastien Lamadon)
  • It is 180 or 205 pages long
  • It's an unpublished Mémoire de DEA (basically a master's thesis) from Université Blaise-Pascal, Clermont-Ferrand
  • Monsieur J-Cl. Thouret (probably Jean‑Claude Thouret) of the Département de Géographie supervised it

HAL doesn't seem to have it. I tried to check theses.fr (e.g. https://www.theses.fr/026403102), but it doesn't seem to be working for me right now...
I thought Université Laval had it, but I didn't notice that the title is generic and what it has is from Université de Paris.
I guess I could try emailing the author if you insist, but if that doesn't work, it's up to you if you want to attempt anything else. I am happy to provide the other sources I mentioned, if you're interested.

Searching HathiTrust for those keywords (Google Books shows that just searching for "Misti" finds random word bits too, so I searched for "el Misti" and "del Misti" instead) finds pp. 3, 4, 5, 8, 11, 42, 62, 64, 68, 70, 196, 205, 210, 251, 259, 261, 288, so I've requested an ILL for pp. "-12,61-71,195-211,250-62,287-9" of OCLC 484337. The only mention on p. 42 is in the beginning of some kind of poem, which appears to be available for free online in various places, e.g. [21], [22], [23], [24], so I've reproduced the part I can see below and omitted it from the pages I requested:

Got it, no problem! It looks like the missing pages are pp. 212, 215-217, 219, 222-228, 231-234, 236; Part Three starts on p. 237. Searching the index, Google Books, and Internet Archive, it looks like all of those pages mention the title of a single or one of the words "tour", "set", or "perform", so I've photographed them and added them to the same album I sent you a link to. Persian miniature enigma

Court scene.

Help! I cannot find a reference for this image. It is claimed as "Fatimid" (but this is extremely unlikely in my opinion, the style is more like 14th century Ilkhanid or Jalayarid) and currently appears in the Arabic miniature article. Can someone confirm that the language of the text in the miniature is Persian, rather than Arabic? I would personally bet for a version of the Great Mongol Shahnameh. Any thoughts? Still can't find it and I typed it aswell on the search function. Besides the information you provided doesn't match the content you wrote on the article that they live there as a community. What does growing role mean, that doesn't mean they inhabit the region? Especially considering every other source contradicts it. Can you show on the source clearly that they are a community that live in the region? Growing presence and trade doesn't mean anything.

No need to call me prejudiced, Im asking for the content that states they inhabit the region clearly and in no uncertain terms. I don't know why but when I type it in the search function nothing comes up. Do you have any other source that can back it up that is actually accessible. Anyway I'll leave it here. There is clear no benefit in this back and forth and would like to see if anyone can corroborate the source and see if it says what you've stated. Otherwise bring another clear citation.
