Why isn't Nippon translated?

Since the common term in English speaking countries is Japan, why is it reffered to as the 'Nippon Decimal Classification' and not simply the Japanese Decimal Classification? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.211.30.73 (talk) 21:58, 4 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
