Atlanta Constitution

Hi all--I need your help. I'm looking for an article from the Atlanta Constitution, October 19, 1890. Unfortunately I do not have a title or a page number, but it's a report on a celebration held in memory of Sidney Lanier. The LoC seems to offer access to some copies of that weekly, but not that year--see this page. Do any of you have alternate fontes? A mention of that article is here, p. xxii.

Thanks so much, Drmies (talk) 22:22, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Requested microfilm of the issue from my library annex, will look. Eddie891 Talk Work 22:37, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Eddie891, thank you so much. You're the best. Drmies (talk) 00:42, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Drmies: Good news is I got the film and found the page the article is on. I grabbed a scan, not the best quality, but if you send me an email I will forward that scan, and can take a better quality one in a few days if the need arises (as I rather think it will). Eddie891 Talk Work 02:12, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Drmies sent the first attempt at scanning. At the very least we now know the article is titled "Sydney Lanier" and it is on page 11. Eddie891 Talk Work 02:54, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Drmies, can this be marked {{resolved}}, or do you need a higher-quality version? Newspapers.com has a mostly legible scan here, for what it's worth. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 19:56, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Extraordinary Writ, thanks. I can mostly read the scan Eddie provided; I don't have access to the thing you linked. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 03:43, 1 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Jo-Jo Eumerus: The Punctuated drainage of an ice‐dammed quaternary lake in southern south america can be accessed via The Wikipedia Library subscription. The remaining links all have a full-text access option through Google Scholar. OhanaUnitedTalk page 20:49, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Marked that one as done, but I don't have access to the others. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 07:33, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Here's the rest... [1][2][3][4][5][6]. Let me know if any of these don't work. OhanaUnitedTalk page 16:33, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Aye, the logins aren't passed on. It seems like you are using a different access than I can. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 08:02, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not even the PDF? I haven't had institutional access for half a year so I don't know how Google Scholar is showing these access links on my end and not yours. Will try to download and flip them to you. Please standby. OhanaUnitedTalk page 14:21, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This doesn't seem to have happened, so Yes Sent. — Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 18:00, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. It was indeed this one. A summary I checked listed the tale as nr. 16. At any rate, the tale is this one, and I checked the Anmerkungen: it was collected by one Aziza Begum in the Pakistani Punjab, during the period of 1970-1975, from an informant named Khawaja Saddique.

For The Black Colt. I plan to move the variants about a "poulain marin" to another article, since there is commentary on them.
