Discourse是一個自由及開放源代碼的網絡論壇軟件。該軟件於2014年8月26日推出，[3]創始人為傑夫·阿特伍德 、Robin Ward 和 Sam Saffron。
客戶端應用程序用到的編程語言是Ember.js。 [4]服務器端用到的編程語言是Ruby on Rails，而且還用到了PostgreSQL數據庫和Redis緩存。源代碼涉及的的軟件許可證是GNU通用公共許可證。 [5]
