Endorsement sections missing
[edit]There aren't any endorsement sections for people to sign, which is going to make it difficult or impossible for an admin to close. As this is arguably quite an important RfC for BLPs, it might make sense to add those sections, per the usual RfC format. SlimVirgin (talk) 00:06, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
Possible wrapup
[edit]I think that it would make sense, sometime in the future, to have the request for comment here be gone over by someone, possibly uninvolved, who could "boil down" the various comments into clear proposals. I note SlimVirgin above has indicated that there would be a use to "endorsement" sections, but, considering the format, maybe it might work best if all those who have commented to date were asked to review the material they have added, as well as the other comments, and maybe make a clear and concise statement regarding their ideas. I can and do think that several editors might perhaps tweak their comments based on the input of others. John Carter (talk) 01:52, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
It's a Mistake to Believe you have the right
[edit]To discuss anybody's sexuality in a publicly displayed place without their permission, unless they explicitly self identified their orientation is order to support those who struggle with their sexuality not being accepted as one of THE most fundamental rights as a Human Being, an animal who has the potential for intelligence. You think you have the right list a person's sexuality, but you do not, and it is wrong, and shows a complete ignorance of the Fundamental Rights and privileges that among the highest, most important, or most sacred. You are willingly, albeit ignorantly violating people in ways that you should not, because that decision in no way is your choice to make, and if you might want to rethink your position before you continue as I say I know, but you would only call it a slim chance that you may be violating another Human Beings deepest connection to all that is private, spiritual, sacred, and can never be your right to influence let alone make such a decision for another.
