Bickering moved from under Lara's support

[edit]
  1. Caspian, you seriously made me lol. Thank you for that. Do you offer a free translation service by chance, or do I need to go flag down someone from WikiProject Linguistics? Bullzeye contribs 05:43, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
"This is Bullzeye. He is kind of a bastard"; Ah at least, I totally agree with this self-introduction. :-)--Caspian blue 05:49, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, I'm pretty open about being a bit of a WP:DICK. Where's the disclaimer on your page, Caspian? ;-) Bullzeye contribs 05:53, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Please don't be so modest; You're master, while I'm just a mere editor who gets trolled by you. Happy new year:-) --Caspian blue 06:04, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm master, huh? If you are say so. Happy new year to you as well. Btw, if you've got time, I teach lessons on the proper use of strike-out when editing comments which have already been responded to. It's about 17 steps before the segment on "angry voting in RfAs". Bullzeye contribs 06:08, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ahem, I think Wikipedia:DNFTT is a more useful tip to me in dealing with the master, cheers! --Caspian blue 06:15, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, if you've been watching Doctor Who this Christmas... Sceptre (talk) 06:11, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Bullzeye, please think before you post. That comment did nothing but escalate the issue. Caspian has the right to his opinion, however much you disagree with it. —Dark 12:32, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
And Caspian hasn't been the model for civility either, with his retaliatory comments. It's New Years guys; let's not start the year with a flame war. —Dark 12:35, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

About Average White Dork's questions

[edit]

As Average White Dork has been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet of Torkmann, is there any reason why their questions should remain? They contributed almost half of the questions, most of which have only little relevance to adminship.

Is there any reason why I (or someone else) shouldn't be bold and just remove them? -- PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 18:53, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Though I don't see much actual reason to remove them (as I noted in the Discussion section of the RfA, when someone else asked), if they are removed, please leave some sort of indication to explain the broken numbering for the questions (and, above all, do not change the question numbers, as that'll screw up every !vote that references an answer). EVula // talk // // 18:57, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
There are far too many questions here as it is, and most are irrelevant. The fact it comes from an apparent abusive sockpuppet should make it obvious that they ought to be removed. Majorly talk 18:59, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
My attitude is one mired largely by laziness; as long as the numbering is maintained, I don't care. :) EVula // talk // // 19:09, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Some of the questions don't appear too bizzare. I'd let IH decide, if he wants to, he can collapse them. --Narson ~ Talk 19:13, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think that's a good solution - the collapsing is important, so that the numbering remains the same. I will leave it for IH to decide on this - for what it's worth, I think they should be -- PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 19:36, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've just seen IH's comment on this ("They don't really bother me, to be honest"), so I'm happy to let this go. I've already labelled the first 2 sets of questions as being from a sockpuppet (someone else did the 3rd set), so anyone reading the questions can use their judgement on this matter. -- PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 19:40, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I labeled the third set, didn't realize there were two other sets until after editing, then adopted EVula's attitude (too lazy to care). I think it's important that readers of the RfA know the questions are from a banned user, but, sure IH can decide what to do with them. I'm generally for deleting crap from banned users, though. They consume too much attention on wikipedia already. --IP69.226.103.13 | Talk about me. 19:44, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
