Minimac's Neutral vote on AD
[edit]- Neutral leaning towards support. Yes, he may be calm, but I haven't seen any civility barnstars given to him yet. He does have rollback rights too, but as he isn't an article creator (And thus doesn't have autoreviewer rights yet) I don't know how much AD understands Wikipedia policies, even though he's demonstrated that he's put the right CSD tags on a lot of poor articles that he did patrol. - That he has such a strong record of contributing to the project and of interacting with its contributors is better proof of his understanding of how the encyclopedia works than anything else could be. I don't quite see where you are coming from with the policy point. Ditto the civility point. Is your perception that he is prone to incivility, or are you just worried that he hasn't actually been formally congratulated for being impeccably civil? Confused, AGK 15:48, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
- I've received like 100 awards, none of which are the civility barnstars, FWIW. –Juliancolton | Talk 15:53, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
- Well now doesn't that say something about what we think of you Juliancolton? ;) --Shirik (Questions or Comments?) 17:29, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
- You're going neutral because lack of civility barnstars? ;-( — Rlevse • Talk • 01:25, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
- PS, I don't have 100 awards like JC, more like 50, and I'm a crat, CU, OS, and arb. Should JC and I turn in all our bits? — Rlevse • Talk • 01:32, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
- OK. All that I am saying is that I haven't seen any links where this user has effectively controlled a dispute well. That is the reason why I'm voting neutral. If I (or anyone) do find a sufficient link, I'll change my vote. Minimac (talk) 05:52, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
- Would this Mediation Cabal request that I helped resolve suffice? Regards -- Александр Дмитрий (Alexandr Dmitri) (talk) 12:07, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, that was very helpful what you did there and that is enough satisfaction to change my vote to support. Minimac (talk) 16:57, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
