It should be noted that it's a registered trademark of Tim Hortons, and the comment "Timbits, as well as all Tim Horton's donuts, are made in 100% hydrogenated vegetable oil, which contributes to their unhealthy levels of Trans Fat," while no doubt a public service, is really inappropriate for an encyclopedia entry. But that aside, for Canadians, "Timbits" is a recognizable word, with meaning that goes beyond just the product connotation.
