5 days from request to deletion? What in the hell?

I come back looking for that information because I found it useful only to find it gone because 10 people decided that it wasn't good enough to keep around. Was the information innacurate? was the information somehow wrong? no, it dealt with specific memes and thoughts of a well known webpage subculture.

Was the information preserved? Doesn't look like it. I suppose I can see if Google has it archived. but that's a wretched thing to have to do, go to google to find information on something that a small group of people who seemed to have an axe to grind against slashdot decided wasn't... somehow... worthy.
