Mandatory deletion?

If the problem is not addressed, yes. If an article remains unsourced after 3 weeks of AfD, it's not going to be sourced any time soon. Verifiability means that sources are cited in the article so that readers can verify the content, and per WP:V, all our content must meet this standard. Sandstein 15:35, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, WP:V, second paragraph: "All quotations, and any material whose verifiability has been challenged or is likely to be challenged, must include an inline citation that directly supports the material.
