Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Patrick Bet-David (3rd nomination)
How is this site going to adapt to new media?
[edit]Serious question, not concern-trolling. Patrick Bet-David has more subscribers than The Spectator, and by the time he gets a profile in another paper, he will be bigger than they are. Aiming up (or at least across) for clout is often the main reason a paper does profiles.
As a non-wikipedian I'm baffled by this recurring AfD about a person who has been famous for years. In regards to new media it seems like maybe there should be a subscriber threshold that makes a person notable by default? Or maybe a podcast chart position? 47.161.128.79 (talk) 22:21, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
- ‘Non Wikipedians’ typically aren’t aware of acronyms like AfD, or the technicalities of notability. Zenomonoz (talk) 11:47, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
Did I close it according to NACD?
[edit]Can anyone help me with my closure in this matter according to NACD. Is it ok or did I made big mistake. @Zenomonoz, @Liz--☮️Counter-Strike:Mention 269🕉️(🗨️ ● ✉️ ● 📔) 16:26, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
