Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/GNU AutoGen
I don't think it's reasonable to delete a page about a topic that some people feel is unnecessary. Wikipedia is about sharing information. Autogen is worthwhile to read about even in a general sense and even for a broad understanding of it. Yes, one can search for the program on the internet and read about it at other sites but it is harmless to leave it on Wikipedia and does not warrant deleting as some people can benefit from reading about it here. If some feel that having the article on here is simply a matter of unnecessary / marketing for a program then the same should be done for all program-related articles as a convention. Many of us like to read information that others deem worthless. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ubermadscientist (talk • contribs) 00:26, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
