Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/EICASLAB
Hallo, this is Vincenzo De Florio, post-doctoral researcher with the University of Antwerp, Belgium. I have noticed that the article about EICASLAB has been marked for deletion. This is just to provide you with my personal feelings about this. We at the UA have been using EICASLAB for some time and consider it a very valuable tool for automatic control design, which differentiates itself from tools such as Matlab for several aspects: its automatic code generation, for instance, produces code that has been used, unmodified, in target platforms such as the COMAU robots. Not a single line of code had to be modified for that. This because EICASLAB incorporates the business logics and allows to create software that is ready for usage. This strong link with the target hardware is coupled with a high level of transparency, which let us make use of complex concepts, methods, and algorithms as abstract building blocks, to manipulate and "play with" freely. I sincerely consider that this page provides useful information and as such should not be deleted. V.deflorio (talk) 15:21, 25 February 2008 (UTC)v.deflorio
