- Evidence
142.59.1.45 participates in numerous edit wars on the article Nintendo GameCube regarding the current production status. Reverts edits stating the GC is no longer being produced, just like MM5 does. Also made numerous edits to video game articles and Mega Man, just like Mega Man 5.
- Comments
- It is possible that Mega Man 5 is just forgetting to log in. Unless you post evidence using diffs that show Mega Man 5 and 142.59.1.45 cooperate to support each other's actions as sock/meat puppets, no action would be taken against their user ids. -- Jreferee t/c 21:15, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- 142.59.1.45 added a sentence to Nintendo GameCube[1] and ten minutes later Mega Man 5 expanded on that sentence.[2]. In this post, Mega Man 5 revises 142.59.1.45's post with an admonishment. They seem to follow each other from one article to another at times, but not consistently. The have both edited the following same or similar articles:Animal Crossing, Battletoads/Battletoads in Battlemaniacs, Donkey Kong 64/Donkey Kong Country, Game Boy line/Game Boy Player, List of Nintendo GameCube games, Mega Man 7/Mega Man 8, Mega Man Anniversary Collection, Mega Man X Collection, Namco Museum, Nintendo GameCube, Pac-Man World Rally, Player's Choice, Resident Evil 4, Sonic Mega Collection, Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. -- Jreferee t/c 21:49, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Mega Man 5 and 142.59.1.45 have similar limited interests and likely know each other. They may have similar views, but I didn't find any actions that they operate as a voting block against others - certainly not enought to block anyone or identify anyone as a meatpuppet. I recommend closing this SSP report. -- Jreferee t/c 21:49, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Conclusions
-
- I find this inconclusive, see nothing blockable, certainly not for long term. Concur with Jreferee. — Rlevse • Talk • 00:10, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
