Evidence

These two users mirror each other's edits and agenda on Anti-Americanism. Bsharvy was warned about 3RR on this article and then Rachel63 began taking over reverts.

The following is a contribution of mine on the Anti-Americanism Discussion page

Are Bsharvy and Rachel63 sockpuppets. I have looked at their contributions log and they both contribute to Anti-Americanism and Korean culture articles with specificity to the consumption of dog meat. The likelihood of two otherwise unrelated editors having a synchronicity of obscure interests seems to me improbable. Whilst this doesn't necessarily prove bad faith by these 2 editors (or is that 1), it does raise concerns about how these abuses can be detected and the issues can be investigated if necessary.

It's the timing that looks suspicious, Rachel, plus your uniquely common interest in the topic of dog meat. When Bsharvy was at his 3RR limit, that's when your reverts began showing up (and you've since violated 3RR, I should add). I was commenting on that article 4 weeks ago, when I noticed it was nominated for deletion. My reverts didn't just show up. If I was a "sockpuppet" I would have voted to delete it. Oh what what do you mean the timing looks suspicious? Who is this Theo Pardilla who never even edited the article but suddenly "showed up" to do a revert just like yours today and then start accusing me of being a sockpuppet and then you filed this accusation, all in about 1 hour???? He didn't do a revert just like mine. All I did was remove a tag. He reverted the whole article to a version I never even saw before from a week ago. And PS: He did edit the article before. Equazcion •✗/C • 09:58, 12 Mar 2008 (UTC)

I stumble upon here from WP:ANI because Bsharvy is familiar name to me for his engagement in Korean cuisine. I don't check their edits in now dispute, so can give an opinion as a third person. Bsharvy said he currently resides in a vicinity of Seoul, South Korea due to his work. I saw Bsharvy once edited his resident place. I quickly looked through the contributions of Rachel63, some of which seem only accessible for whom lives in South Korea or knows Korean culture deeply such as D-War (film) and Seoul National Capital Area. --Appletrees (talk) 10:57, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Conclusions

It looks like they're very likely the same person. A couple of things:

Rachel63 was created 08:38, 7 December 2007 and proceeded to edit the same article and the same discussion that Bsharvy had been editing the same day, advocating the exact same point of view.
Rachel63 (talk · contribs) is only active at the same time as Bsharvy (talk · contribs)— not vice versa. That is, Bsharvy may make edits, but Rachel63 only makes them when Bsharvy is highly active. The pattern of use falloff correlation in January is highly suspicious, for example, as well as the interim between the 8th and the 14th/15th of December 2007. There was another huge gap from mid december all they way up to the afd of a mutually involved article, at which point both participated in its afd discussion.
Both seem to edit Koren articles.
Rachel63 (talk · contribs) botched the report to WP:AN3 in the same way as Bsharvy (talk · contribs). Moreover, Bsharvy has been previously blocked for edit warring in the past, which would increase the attractiveness of attempting to use a sockpuppet to possibly get away with it in the future.
Under the AGF assumption that they're simply interested in the same articles, it is atypical to not see any sort of communication between the two on their respective User talk pages.
And naturally there's the recent slew of edits to the same article advocating the exact same point of view.

As a result, taken together, I think it's safe to call this Confirmed. It's not 100%, but it's fairly consistent given the average behavior of sock and meatpuppets. --slakr^\ talk / 11:25, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
