xantheif src (talk · contribs) - YOUR DESCRIPTION OF THE USER Xantheif src (talk) 23:10, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here:
I desire to become a Wikipedia Administrator, because I have used the articles for research over the past few years and I wanted to add something of my own knowledge, and to make sure it stays completely factual.
Questions for the candidate
[edit]Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. It is recommended that you answer these optional questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?
- A: Editing and making sure users do not create bad pages that list falsified information.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: I have added a vast amount of information regarding J.R.R. Tolkien, and I must say that this was my greatest contribution. I feel this way, because I did so after reading about eight of his books at least twice; all of this took me about six hours to accomplish also. I also added information about pythagoras, and deleted something deragatory I found there.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: In the past I have only edited articles that either had insufficient information, or false information. I know personally that it is upsetting to find false information, while you are in graduate level classes, so I do find this stressing a some points. In the future I will make sure all such information is deleted as quickly as possible.

Discussion
[edit]- It seems to me that both of the accounts used to !vote support are sockpuppets of the candidate. Candidate has 2 edits, both to this RFA, then those two accounts were created mere minutes after the RFA was made. Both supporting accounts only have one edit, here in this RFA. I have reported this case to WP:ANI and only have transcluded it here for the sake of consistency. Useight (talk) 00:15, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose
[edit]- Oppose per malformed RfA and sockpuppet allegations. нмŵוτнτ 00:24, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Strong Oppose - your only (two as of this edit) contributions have been to this RfA, plus, you appear to have created sockpuppets to vote in your favor. Try contributing for about a year, rack up some good contributions, and then I might support you. Until then, you might as well drop out, as theres not a snowball's chance in hell that this'll succeed. Nwwaew (Talk Page) (Contribs) (E-mail me) 00:30, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
