Non-bureaucrat closure - closing this as it has no chance of passing, with user making a single edit before embarking upon this. ~ Riana ⁂ 02:52, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Nomination
[edit]joeyklee (talk · contribs) – The User "joeyklee" wants to become an administrator of the wikipedia community. He has edited wikipedia in the past when people basically had free reign and things were way out of order... unfortunately he did not keep a record of the specifics so there is no real evidence. However "joeyklee" believes that he can be a great asset to the community as former administrators in his own community have trained him in the ways of wikipedia and "joeyklee" has somewhat of a good experience with the system and a determination to do some research to correct false edits on this site. - Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here: I accept the nomination for administrator status on wikipedia to edit wrongful posts and uphold a great community where everyone can be happy!
Questions for the candidate
[edit]Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. It is recommended that you answer these optional questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
- A: More on the logistical side of things whereas I will be able to help users and also do some edits to false documents with a passion for research and correcting others.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: Probably back when wiki was completely ravaged by bad information that people were actually believing. I believe I redid a whole page on WWII that was completely false one time. Unfortunately I did it as an anonymous user and so I don't really have anything to show for it... but still.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: I wouldn't say "stress" but sometimes pain before I made an account some users were very argumentative and debated me even outside of wikipedia (some I knew of course). I did resolve the situation by disproving the opposition with a large load of evidence.
