Nomination

WP:NOTNOW (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) – WP:NOTNOW, though not a user, has been instrumental in the RfA process. Along with his friend WP:SNOW, he(she?) has managed to successfully judge a bajillion candidates, and veer them away from the path to doom, while managing to avoid discouraging them.

Yes, NOTNOW never had the chance to become an admin, but that is because he would be pretty useless with the tools. "Let's ban a user"--"Not now". "Care to delete a page?"--"Not now". Yep. pretty useless.

On the other hand, as a crat, NOTNOW would be instrumental. With the powers that cratship bestows on him, he could successfully manage all RfAs, and help the community more. ManishEarth^{Talk • Stalk} 04:05, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

1. Have you read the discussions on when to promote and not promote? What do you understand the criteria for promotion to be?

A: I cannot read. I am a policy, not a human. Please do not insult my cognitive facilities by pretending that I can read.

2. How would you deal with contentious nominations where a decision to promote or not promote might be criticized?

A: WP:NOTNOW, of course.

3. Wikipedians expect bureaucrats to adhere to high standards of fairness, knowledge of policy and the ability to engage others in the community. Why do you feel you meet those standards?

A: *Fairness: I am fair. Very fair. Everyone gets a WP:NOTNOW. No special cases.

• Community: I don't need to engage others in the community. The community comes looking for ME.
