Nomination

- Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here:
Questions for the candidate
[edit]Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. It is recommended that you answer these optional questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
- A: Finishing a page I created, helping other users edit, try my hardest, help try and remove vandalism from pages, and to do my best to help Wikipedia.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: Doing whatever I can to improve them really. I would not say one certain thing, but I really want to make Wikipedia an online free encyclopedia an encyclopedia the does not have lies in it from users who want to make lies.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Yes. I am trying to continue making a page, and then RHaworth protected the page, (which I am not to happy about), so that made want to help anyone who needs the help. I will dealt with this in the future by becoming an having the ability to do more. I will un-protect the page, and start helping other users.

Oppose
[edit]- Oppose, sorry, you just don't have enough edits. Consider taking part in more areas, such as WP:RPP, WP:NPP, WP:AIV, and WP:ADMINBACKLOG. I need to see a clear dedication to the 'pedia before I can trust you with the tools. As well as this, your reasons for wanting adminship do not impress me. See WP:NOTNOW. Just because you are an admin does not give you the right to revert other admins' administrative actions, see this page. You should learn to discuss with other users instead. - Kingpin13 (talk) 20:39, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Strong Oppose – This seems like a joke to me, and if it isn't it should be. You have barely 250 edits. You could not have read about what it takes to be an admin, because if you had you would not have applied. Alan16 (talk) 20:40, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose, per WP:NOTNOW, your Q1 (you do not need admin tools to do any of those things) and your talk page which is littered with warnings - some of which you appear to have ignored. Also adminship is not about avenging perceived mistakes made to your article. Sorry. Pedro : Chat 20:42, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- It's less than a month since you were vandalising. No. – iridescent 20:43, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose The answer to question 3 indicates you want the tools to wheel war and advance your opinions, not for improvement of the project. ~ Amory (user • talk • contribs) 20:50, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose. Per Amory, Pedro and iridescent and per WP:NOTNOW. Suggest a closure per WP:SNOW. AtheWeatherman 20:53, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I'm going to assume good faith. The spesh man is not yet providing valuable contributions. I suggest that The spesh man follows the advice that several editors have recommended on his talk page, notably "Your first article". If The spesh man consistently provides useful contributions and demonstrates a good understanding of Wikipedia policies and guidelines, he might be successful in the future.
