Hello everyone. I've been considering this application for the past week since reading Fr33kman's announcement. I've been actively editing here for over three months, which has given me time to familiarize myself with this project and the procedures used here. I mainly patrol for vandalism by reverting, warning and reporting to WP:VIP. I've also been helping at WP:AFD here and there.
If my request is successful, I would like to mainly focus my time on WP:VIP and CAT:QD. I believe these are two areas where active admins are important due to the amount of vandals this project attracts.
I understand that I don't have thousands of edits on this project, but I'm willing to help out, usually available during weekdays, and I've already gained experience from rolling back edits (here, on enwiki, and other small projects). Additionally, I've read and understand WP:CfA and WP:ADMIN. Thank you for your input and I look forward to any additional questions from the community!
Candidate's acceptance: self-nomination

[change source]Oppose Thanks for volunteering, but I don't think you're ready for adminship just yet. Your work here has been good, I just think this request is too soon. I don't think we are in as desperate need of admins as fr33kman's post points out – the amount of "active" admins has increased from six to nine since that post was made, and the state of our backlogs is fine. It just seems to have resulted in a lot of RfAs for editors who could probably be an admin in the future, but requesting too soon. --Ferien (talk) 06:43, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose Like Ferien, I feel like it's a bit too soon. Your work here is good, no doubts, but you've only been registered here for 4 months. In my opinion, your account is just too young for me to support you obtaining adminship.- FusionSub (Talk page) (Contributions) 07:43, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose Too soo, only 692 edits Cactus🌵 spiky ouch 12:09, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose It's too soon for you to become an admin. You need to spend some more time getting used to the project. Wait a few more months and try again. fr33kman 16:43, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose per Ferien unfortunately, great editor but I concur this RFA is way too soon, My personal criteria is candidates with 3-4 years under their belt and you've obviously only got 4 months under yours, I also agree with above that there's no backlogs here that requires another admin, Thank you for your hard help, work and contributions here though they're greatly appreciated, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 16:45, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[change source]- @Ternera: can you explain why you did not leave a warning on this revert or an edit summary explaining why you reverted it?— *Fehufangą ♮ ✉ Talk page 05:03, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- Thanks for the question. Sometimes while using twinkle, I forget to include and edit summary/warn (SWViewer does it automatically, and I get used to that). In the case you mentioned, I reverted the edit because it removed referenced information and replaced it with different content that was unreferenced. - I'm going to withdraw this request. Based on the opposes, I clearly see that the community is looking for editors who have been part of the project for years and that is not something I'm able to provide at this time. Thanks. Ternera (talk) 17:03, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
