Nomination
[edit]Presbitow (talk · contribs) – If the site encourages you to be bold, I have the guts to do anything. I'm going to try my hand on this, too. I'd certainly like to experiment with new functions. I understand that these carry a certain degree of responsibility, and I'm not concerned if this passes or fails. --Presbitow (talk) 09:21, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here: This is a self-nominations. Presbitow (talk) 18:52, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Questions for the candidate
[edit]Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. Please answer these questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
- A: I'd be willing to fix deletions and stuff and work at protections as well.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: It's a future Super Bowl event, under review.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Yes, but I'm trying to deal with as best I can. Please see my contributions.

- Since I don't have an account, I'm going to offer my support here. I don't think the candidate did this in bad faith. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.254.192.127 (talk • contribs)
Support
[edit]#support per users ability to keep his cool in tough situations, but I suggest you wait a few months.
Oppose
[edit]- Absolutely Not – Sorry, but you only have 82 edits. You need to have at least 3,000 before most people will even consider you. You've been here five days and already went to dispute resolution because someone redirected a page that you had added content to (after it had already been redirected); and, while there, you showed that you have no knowledge of basic policy or of any of the "special rules" (as I sometimes call them), like WP:CRYSTAL and WP:BALL. You also do not have the right attitude. "I don't care if it passes or fails." What is the point in even applying if you don't care? United States Man (talk) 18:57, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Sorry but we need a) experienced editors and b) editors who know what they will do with the mop, not "fix deletions and stuff." GiantSnowman 19:13, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Extremely Strong Oppose Per above. Requesting a Snowball close. MrScorch6200 (talk | ctrb) 19:17, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose Sorry but you have 82 edits and have only been editing 5 days, you need thousands of edits and 6+ months experience to even be considered. Clear case of WP:NOTNOW. --JamesMoose (talk) 19:25, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose per MrScorch6200. Use of the word bold has very real limits. Chris Troutman (talk) 20:09, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
