Ends 22 May 2007
After almost 300 edits in the last three days, I didn't feel the need to become myself admin neither about blocking disruptive contributors nor about blanking entries. There are already enough admins doing a great job.
Only two reasons are left why my nomination could be useful:
- I live in Europe and am connected while my morning is the time where most other sysops are asleep...
- I track mainly the old mistakes and therefore I'll work much more quicker when given access to the Special:Unwatchedpages.
Candidate's acceptance: ONaNcle (talk) 09:40, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose You've only been here three days, and your edits have, in my opinion been rather disruptive. And, in stealing my signature, you've left a link to my talk page in it. Majorly (talk) 12:45, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- The signature I had previously noticed from you was orange and red in User_talk:ONaNcle#External links my own page. If I did a mistake... we are on a wiki... just correct it ;-)))
- The only thing I'm 100% sure if I happen to be nominated as a sysop : I shall not stop making mistakes. 13:02, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- You should correct it in your preferences, not me, and I don't want a sysop who will not stop making mistakes. Majorly (talk) 13:05, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Lol stop making mistakes... It was too easy ;-))) to track and correct a wrong spelling you have been adding on Simple yesterday. 13:35, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- Uh that was intentional, and definitely wasn't a spelling mistake. Majorly (talk) 13:39, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- Oppose - Please do not misunderstand me, your edits are very welcome; I do however feel that you will need a little more time to get to know the way things work here (And yes, I am also in Europe, and go to bed when some of the other admins only wake up). --Eptalon 14:27, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose Been doing good work so far, but I think you need to be consistent with your activity levels on simple.wiki for much longer than just three days. I suggest you try again in two months, or so. Nishkid64 (talk) 14:30, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose. I believe you need to be around a bit longer so that you can build some trust with the community. I think it is too soon right now. I encourage you to keep editing, read and watch what others do, and learn more about the process here in the meantime. - BrownE34 talk contribs 14:34, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- Oppose - Has quite a lot to learn. Sean William 21:15, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- back at school ;-))) I do realize how many rules have changed since my first several edits on Simple on Autumn 2004. The most recent one - that some sysops made me discover here this afternoon - is the circular redirect syndrome which was completely forbidden in those prehistoric days! ! ! ONaNcle 21:28, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose - As per other users' comments. --M7 21:19, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose - Although you've done some great contributions recently to this wiki, you ain't ready to be a sysop yet. Sorry. --§ Alastor Moody (T + C) 01:31, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Not yet. We appreciate your help here, but it's definitely not now. Perhaps next time?-- Tdxiang 09:00, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose. You still have some things to learn. As this is obviously going to fail, I'd like to close this tomorrow under WP:SNOW if there's no objections. Archer7 - talk 12:13, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
