Nat.tang (talk · contribs) - I have been involved with Wikipedia since 21 August 2006, editing mainly one or two articles. As of April 2007, I have been heavily involved in Wikipedia. I admit I was involved in a conflict with another Wikipedia user, but I have since resolve any personal conflicts with him/her and I have even offered friendly advice to this user. As of 27 May 2007, I have been apart of the CVU or Counter-Vandalism Unit as to announce my intentions to crack down on vandalism and maintain the cleanliness and integrety of this encyclopedia. Questions for the candidate
[edit]Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. You may wish to answer the following optional questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?
- A: My intentions are to use the Wikipedia Admininistrator powers to maintain the integrety and the cleanliness of this encyclopedia, to enforce the policies of Wikipedia, and to crack down, in accordance with Wikipedia policy, on vandals who dare to cause and create chaos and damage to the hard work that many editors have spent time to create, edit and refine. If granted these powers, I will uphold the policies of Wikipedia to the best of my abilities.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: I believe that my best contributions to Wikipedia have been the John Tory article and the Associated Gospel Churches of Canada article, where I have made several major edits and improvements to them.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: I have had a conflict with a user not too long ago that brought me to the brink of cracking, as it became quite personal. It was resovled with an apology being said by one party and the other - accepted the apology calmly. In the future, I will attempt to avoid using my emotions when trying to resolve a conflict or during a discussion on a talk page and be calm and humble when commenting.

Oppose
- Oppose Based upon answers to questions one and three - far too vague and not enough evidence provided in the form of diffs. Additionally, you only seem to have started contributing in earnest from April, although you have been registered since last August; you have contributed to the policy space less than twenty times in all that time and your use of edit summaries needs to improve as well. You can force the edit summaries in your user preferences. Also, try contributing to XfD discussions and back up these contributions with reference to policies and guidelines and new page/ recent change patrols with associated vandal warnings and reporting to WP:AIV where appropriate will all do to assist your admin-related activities here. Try again in a few months with this evidence and you may be more successful. (aeropagitica) 04:55, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
