Nomination
[edit]Merle Lang (talk · contribs) – My name is Merle Lang, and I am mostly on 3 wikis, such as Wikipedia, Wikinews, and Meta-Wiki. My purpose of becoming administrator here is to try the admin tools, but not to abuse it. Admin tools wiki is known for its admin tools, like blocking users, protecting and deleting pages, and rollbacking. In Wikipedia, I had made 230 good faith edits and following civility. I also used Twinkle for vandals, deleting pages, and requesting protection of pages. In my conclusion, I would hopefully become an administrator here on this site, after I become an experienced editor on all three wikis. Merle Lang 20:57, 12 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose
[edit]- Not yet. With under 300 edits i can't say yes. Sorry. Pilif12p : Yo 21:08, 12 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose not at this point, administrators need to be able to answer questions, and to have a lot more examples of their work.
- Not now <300 edits, registered <1 month ago. No indication of any activity in admin related areas (AN, ANI, SPI, UAV, AIV). Jarkeld (talk) 21:17, 12 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose - Uhhhm, please close asap under WP:SNOW. Jusdafax 21:27, 12 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Neutral
[edit]- Not yet. You should bear in mind that most successful RfA candidates have many thousands of edits and have been active on the project for several months at least. You need to prove to us that you know what you're doing with the tools, that you know the community well enough to know when to use them and when not and that the community can have trust in you. I'm afraid with your current level of experience, you're not ready. That said, I'm sure your request was borne out of a genuine desire to help, so please do stick around, write some stuff, whack some vandals, participate in some discussions and enjoy just being an editor for now. :) HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 21:30, 12 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
