Hey everyone. I've been a user here since November 2006, and recently have been editing here more frequently. There are often pages cropping up that need quick deletion, and while there is often someone around to delete it for me, I'd prefer not to bother them and do it myself. Same with blocks; I usually ask FrancoGG or Sean William over IRC but I'd now like to do it myself. Adminship isn't a big deal to me really, but the tools would be useful. Thanks in advance :) Majorly (talk) 21:53, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Candidate's acceptance: Majorly (talk) 21:53, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Support. Excellent vandal fighter and trustworthy. Sean William 22:28, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Support Majorly's a good kid. But seriously, he's done great work here, and definitely could use the tools. :) Nishkid64 (talk) 22:34, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Support. I was going to nominate you yesterday, but I forgot :). Although the issues between you and J Di could have been a problem, you seem to attempt a problem-solving and understanding approach to disputes. So long as you stay out of conflicts which you're involved in, can't see any problems at all. Archer7 - talk 23:13, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Support Seems like an active vandal fighter and helpful contributor. Keep up the great work! =D --Az1568 23:32, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Support Even if I see no reason why Majorly doesn't want (see below) to be nominated one day before me. I was already editing on Simple as far as 2004 but had realized very late how much the Special:Unwatchedpages could be so helpful. ONaNcle 13:12, 15 May 2007 (UTC)Ok I'm too young ;-))) therefore, I canceled my own votes as well as I cancel myself as a candidate ; thanks anyway to all your votes ; I'll try again in July as suggested by some sysops. - Support. Only reservations were mentioned by Archer7, but I believe it won't be a problem. Plus, it's hard to not support one's own nominator and someone who does an overall good job as well. :) - BrownE34 talk contribs 14:25, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- Neutral: Low main space edit count with a sign of seriously ramped up activity in the past several weeks. Magorly has been here since November, but has only really been active for a month and a half. One more month of sustained activity and I could vote "support" but not at this time. We already have a case with a person coming in working hard for a short time, getting admin and then losing interest and going absent, probably not the case here, but wold like to be certain before voting yes. -- Creol(talk) 21:41, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- If you are referring to J Di, he's been absent on all projects, not just here. I've been active since November, with spurts around January and March. I disagree my mainspace editing is low; I don't write so much, but many articles are missing images, and I have made it my duty to add an image to every article that can have one. Even without words, it still improves the article's quality. And btw, it's Majorly ;) Majorly (talk) 21:47, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- 363 main space edits to me is low, that's barely 2.1 main's per day average. It is mainly low due to the extended time with little activity, as during April you kicked it up to almost 6 a day and this month you are getting closer to 10 (9.6 as of yesterday). Writing a lot is not needed since a revert, typo fix or adding an image counts just as much as wikifying/simplifying a full article or writing the entire article yourself when it comes to number of edits done. While I certainly don't expect anyone to keep up to my pace (that would be insane), those numbers are just to low for my vote. And sorry about the name, I have somehow always had a problem spelling major as magor.. I actually misspelled it just now trying to write this. -- Creol(talk) 22:12, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- heh, no worries :) Majorly (talk) 22:16, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- Weak support Personally, I don't know this user very much, but based on what other users think of him, he does have a potential to be a sysop. --§ Alastor Moody (T + C) 01:33, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Well, why not? I've seen him on IRC often, asking me for mop-related help. I wish he had the mop in the first place!-- Tdxiang 09:00, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Weak support. You have shown a need for the tools, but I also think that your edit count is low and that you have not been very active until lately. Like Creol, I feel that I could show stronger support in the future. I also had some concerns regarding the JDi thing; I worry about the ability of the two of you to be able to work together as admins in a cooperative and constructive (if not friendly) manner. That responsibility of course falls on both of you, so that is not a reason to keep you from being a sysop. I just hope that my worries will prove to be unfounded. I know you'll almost surely pass, so I just would like you to keep that in mind (if he comes back). I really am sorry that I can't give you my full support now. It's nothing personal, just some reservations of mine. :-) · Tygartl1·talk· 16:24, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Support He has experience with admin tools on some other projects, and has demonstrated a need of them in here, he'll make a good admin. FrancoGG ( talk ) 19:27, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
