HyperSonicBoom (talk · contribs) - I have helped administrators put up with vandalism, helped with articles, and wanted to become an administrator. I think it is time. HyperSonicBoom 01:10, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here: I accept. HyperSonicBoom 01:24, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What sysop chores do you anticipate helping with? Please check out Category:Wikipedia backlog and Category:Administrative backlog, and read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.
- A: I anticipate helping with vandalism mostly. I would like to help the other admins block vandals.
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any with which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- A: I like contributing to Wikipedia a lot, but there aren't any edits I like in particular.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: I haven't dealt with much, but I believe I will deal with lots of users in the future.
- General comments

Discussion
- "Please keep criticism constructive and polite". It seems to me that you are failing to do this.
If it makes you any happier, I'll withdraw. HyperSonicBoom 02:44, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose
- Uh... nothing personal, but under 500 edits, a block for a 3RR violation, absolutely bare-bones answers to the questions... sorry, but no, I don't think you're qualified to be an admin at this time. EVula // talk // ☯ // 01:51, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- ...you mean well, but uh, yeah, better to withdraw this. Please.--Wizardman 01:52, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose - shows clear lack of understanding of policy. BJTalk 01:53, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose per above. You should probably withdraw and try again later. --Coredesat 01:55, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose I am always wary of potential admins that nominate themselves. And putting your record into consideration, I am glad I am wary. Captain panda In vino veritas 02:02, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose. bibliomaniac15 02:04, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose You should take the others advice and withdraw. You haven't got enough experience for the job and a recent block which seems you might not understand policy just yet. --John Lake 02:05, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Suggest withrdawl, this nom is not going to pass, unfortunately. I, like John Lake, suggest you withdraw this nomination and work on the points assessed by the other users. Cbrown1023 talk 02:08, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- Ho ho! Quite the powerful proof you have there, Consumed Crustacean! I salute you! Captain panda In vino veritas 02:22, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose, borrowing Consumed Crustacean's reasoning. - Davidjk RC Patrol 02:17, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Strong oppose. Holy shit dude. You can't have copyrighted images in userboxes, and insulting admins the way you did for doing their job is completely unacceptable. And now you want to become one yourself just a few days later, just after coming off a block? No way José. Grandmasterka 02:28, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Neutral
- Neutral I know you mean well, but this isn't really the right time for this. The block for 3RR is bound to put people on their guard immediately. I would recommend at least 6 months with a clean record before running again. Participate in article writing, XfDs, vandalism patrol, new pages patrol, and try to keep cool at all times and try to resolve conflicts amicably without getting into the 3RR trap. I recommend you withdraw at this time, and work on putting your earlier mess-ups behind you. Good luck! riana_dzasta 01:56, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
