(0/12/1); Scheduled to end 23:53, 30 June 2008 (UTC) - Withdrawn by Candidate[1] --Koji†Dude (C) 01:29, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Cream (talk · contribs) - I've been editing Wikipedia since 2006. I've created a few pages for local places such as Dagwoods. I admit that i've created a few sockpuppetry accounts and i fully stopped per a WP:AN consensus. I edit wikipedia whenever i feel like. I am a 21 years nutrition student at Université de Montréal and i love it! I plan to add a ton of nutritional informations on Wikipedia on a university grade level. I currently work in a Six Flags park. I've dealth with a handful of sockpuppets and i know how to handle them. I am in the process of getting pictures relased under GFDL on the most magical World's Fair Expo 67 in Montreal. I work in a Expo 67 relic wich is [[L}a Ronde (amusement park)|La Ronde]]. Questions for the candidate
[edit]Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. It is recommended that you answer these optional questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?
- A: I intend to help out in finding sockpuppets and keeping backlogs low on many various tasks, but more precisely on copyright questions.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: I can handle heavy vandalism and discuss wikimatters on IRC.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Yes i did. On many pakistani articles such as Thill Sharief. I've tried to improve them by removing the pointless tags such as <br> and other stuff. I've tried translating the urdu words into english with the help of a few real life pakistani friends.
Additional question from AubreyEllenShomo:
- 4. Since you didn't address it in Q3, I would like to ask you to go into the EpicFlame issue, the ban, and what you have done to reform yourself.
- A:
- 5. I assume, because of this RfA, that you feel the time you've spent making constructive contributions since March is enough to forgive and forget. I would like to ask why you feel that three months of productive editing is enough time to redeem yourself from a ban to the point you'd make a credible candidate for adminship?

Please keep discussion constructive and civil. If you are unfamiliar with the nominee, please thoroughly review Special:Contributions/Cream before commenting.
- I would suggest you re-read instruction #6 in the self-nomination instructions, because it will be brought up sooner or later by someone and not following that direction may be held against you more than it should be. ⇔ ∫ÆS dt @ 00:09, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- This RfA appears to be withdrawn. It was de-transcluded from the main RfA page in this diff, which appears to be a clear withdrawal by the candidate. ⇔ ∫ÆS dt @ 01:22, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Discussion
[edit]- I'd say so, per my comment posted at the same time as yours. ⇔ ∫ÆS dt @ 01:24, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- Oppose. The half-hearted answers to the questions do very little to convince me that this user can be trusted with the tools. Question 3 strikes me as particularly dishonest, if he was serious about this process he would mention his previous actions and what he has learned from them. Question 1 also indicates a lack of knowledge about the tools available to administrators - we do not have checkuser rights and can do little more than regular editors in terms of finding sockpuppets (I am resisting the obvious comment here). Rje (talk) 00:28, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Strong oppose—I'm worried by some of his IRC behaviour, as well as the block log. --Maxim(talk) 00:30, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose per iridescent and giggy. Most of your two years experience were as an inactive alternate account for EpicFlame, who was put under a community ban. You've made efforts to reform, that's good, but it's WAY too soon for adminship. Sorry. ⇔ ∫ÆS dt @ 00:30, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose OMG i didn't see you were blocked! And so soon! Wait a while. Shapiros10 contact meMy work 00:34, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- Oppose. Sorry, man. I originally thought I'd be supporting this. But I didn't get a chance to review your merits until now because my phone rang here at the office. Now that this is back on the docket or whatever, I see your very recent block. It's very unfortunate because you do good work, I just can't support with this incident being so recent. Useight (talk) 01:04, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose — I view self-noms as prima facie evidence of power hunger. Kurt Weber (Go Colts!) 01:07, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Neutral
[edit]- I have a few concerns. While you may have turned around and become a better user on wikipedia, some of your past IRC actions leave me concerned. Specifically speaking, you have used botnets to attack various wikipedia-related channels, and have disrupted and attacked many IRC users. Since most of my concerns are IRC-related, I don't feel as if it would be fair to place this in the oppose section. Still, my thoughts will not change for a while, and until then, I cannot support you in this RfA. Cremepuff222 (talk) 00:07, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
