- Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What sysop chores do you anticipate helping with?
- A: I anticipate helping out as much as possible, but mainly starting with:
(Whenever I'm online, there is usually a backlog of speedy deletions and AIVs, and I've always been powerless to do anything about it. Hopefully I will be able to help out in this way :) )
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any with which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- A: I'm quite pleased with my additions to the article about my school (Padua College), and also the creation and writing of the Queensland Youth Choir article. I'm also pleased with the amount of vandals that I have warned and brought to admin attention.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: I've been in quite a few stressful situations with (mostly) anonymous vandals, as they continue to vandalise after their final warning. They were brought to the attention of admins, and have since been blocked.
In can't say I have had any major edit conflicts - occasionally when there has actually been a disagreement about an edit, the issue has been resolved via talk page discussion (the calmest way!).
- General comments
- See Chrisch's edit summary usage with mathbot's tool. For the edit count, see the talk page.
- I would like the chance to help out the Wikipedia community in this way. Please consider my request, and feel free to ask any further questions should the need arise. :)
Please keep criticism constructive and polite.

- Oppose Per the comments by Real96 and the general lack of experience, your answers are satisfactory but still quite weak, I'd give it another 4 month and get some more experience. Good luck for future RfA's.Tellyaddict 08:57, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose I know there's no obligation to sell yourself here, but with such limited experience I'd need something special to support your application. As per Real96, try again after some more experience. The Rambling Man 08:59, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
