Celticfan383 (talk · contribs) - I think I'm a reliable user with a lot of time on my hands. I have 8-9 week summer school holidays and love editing and patrolling Wiki's. I am a Sysop on Simpedia and created many of those articles. I have created ESC 2008 and made major contribution to it. I take the Wikipediholism test monthly and my score gets higher and higher. Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. You may wish to answer the following optional questions to provide guidance for participants:

1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?

A: I will patrol new users, recent changes, etc. for vandalism and blanking.

2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?

A: ESC 2008 as it was my first created page. All information is cited and i wrote most of the text with help from User:AxG.

3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

A: I was under great stress when ESC 2008 came under IP vandalism. I requested for the page to be SP'd and got it. One week after it was un-SP'd it came under heavy IP vandalism again. I then requested again for Semi Protection, and won it. I would fully Semi Protect pages which come under heavy IP vandalism two times running. In the future I would patrol Semi Protection requests and answer them asap.

Oppose. Sorry to say, but your recent activity troubles me. According to the count log, most of the months you have been here have under 100 edits. Your heart is in the right place, but you don't have the experience to gain trust from me. Try participating in WP:XfD discussions or participate in WikiProjects and apply in a few months. Oppose per your answer to question 1, I don't see any real need for the tools. You can do all those things without any of the extra buttons. Additionally, I think you need some more experience and a higher activity to gain the support of the community. —Anas ^talk? 17:48, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. Your enthusiasm is commendable and you show potential. However, you've made just 237 mainspace edits and 603 total edits. Moreover, your editing experience is limited to very few pages. Oppose - I'm sorry, but none of your answers appear to show any great need for, or understanding of, the admin tools. Most of the tasks you've listed are not admin-specific, and can be carried out by any user with an account. I'm also a little concerned about this template you created -- I actually voted to delete it a day or so ago, because it's pretty bitey. Since your edits do not show any serious interaction with vandals or new users, I am left with some serious doubts about how you would interact with them. --Haemo 18:08, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
