This is WP:NOT what Wikipedia is for. A largely-dead (but still slightly alive) project with no real progress in the past decade. Attempting to design a card game that the community will certainly not authorize as "endorsed by the community". Many of the tropes used are ones actively discouraged ("As you collect centijimbos, you gain the ability to gain various user rights."). The claim it might help with fundraising seems a fig-leaf to tie this to the work of building an encyclopedia. Wikipedia is not a social network to design a card game. I suppose this could live in user-space (though it would still just be using Wikipedia as a web host), but it should not be in project space. User:力 (power~enwiki, π, ν) 04:04, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
- Mark historical: This is nowhere near offensive enough to delete -- it's a harmless dumb joke from 2009. Hell, it's even categorized in the Department of Fun. It doesn't demand userfying, either, because several people were involved and DoF pages don't have to be in userspace. All that said, there's no reason to encourage it as a currently active project. - If it actually were historical, I would have marked it as such and moved on. Perhaps I should tag it with {{humor}} and/or {{SCREW}}, remove the language speculating this might become anything other than a way to waste time in project space, and move on. - Keep. It is reflective learning on the culture of Wikipedia. Reflective learning is often in the guise of humour, and this squarely is. It is obviously, undoubtedly, related to the project. It has value, and it does not harm. Expunging things like this does harm. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 09:01, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

- Keep: Sorry if this sounds harsh, but going by your logic, essays should be deleted as well, because Wikipedia is not a publisher of original thought. But the reason why essays are allowed is because of WP:IAR, constructively contributing to the encyclopedia by giving advice. TCG is here, like the rest of WP:FUN, to be a fun little thing from ten years ago. Sungodtemple a tcg fan!!1!11!! (talk) 13:52, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

- Keep as harmless fun. Since people are still joining in I see no reason to mark this historical at this time. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 16:59, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
- I've tagged it as a project designed to encourage humor on-wiki, not a project to create and distribute a physical product. If nobody objects to the change, this MFD can be considered "withdrawn by nominator". User:力 (power~enwiki, π, ν) 20:07, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
