The result of the debate was Speedy Keep. Non-admin closure per Wikipedia:Banning policy, page nominated for deletion by blocked sockpuppet of banned user. Darkspots (talk) 01:53, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
Useless policy mongering, concerns already addressed by User:Sarcasticidealist per talk page.PrezleyMaddox (talk) 06:23, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
- Very confused by this motion for deletion. Wikipedia:Project Leader is a straightforward attempt to specify on a policy page what is, as far as I know, already Wikipedia status quo policy. As far as I knew prior to seeing this motion for deletion, no element of the proposed page is even controversial. And even if some portion of the policy IS somehow controversial, the solution is to talk about it and let us fix it-- not delete it outright. I'd urge a speed keep and taking whatever concerns there are to the Talk page. --Alecmconroy (talk) 06:54, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
- PrezleyMaddox, you need to read Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion#Prerequisites. We don't delete policy proposals as a substitute for discussing and improving (and in this case, merging) them. Uncle G (talk) 11:02, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
- Traditionally, policy is codification of existing status-quo. This is no exception and simply describes how things currently stand— I fail to see how clarity and being explicit with something that already exists is "policy mongering". — Coren (talk) 13:33, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
