Autobio in the wrong namespace but could be notable. L293D ( • ) 12:51, 22 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - It doesn't matter if may be notable. Improving an autobiography is like putting lipstick on a pig. Won't be a satisfactory article. Robert McClenon (talk) 17:24, 22 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move to Draft namespace. The article was created yesterday, for crying out loud! A draft of an article worked on for only one day shouldn't be eligible for MfD if there are any doubts as to the subject's notability. In the very policy that User:Robert McClenon quoted, I read: "The proper way to get your own writing about yourself into Wikipedia if you really think that you can meet the inclusion criteria and are willing to accept having a neutral, non-promotional article, is to make a proposal at Articles for creation containing the text you want, instead of just putting it into the encyclopedia directly, and seek the consensus of the community through discussion."
This user has done exactly what our guidelines suggest except for erring in putting his draft in the wrong namespace. Grognard Extraordinaire Chess (talk) Ping when replying 20:56, 22 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
