- Move to Draft namespace. The article was created yesterday, for crying out loud! A draft of an article worked on for only one day shouldn't be eligible for MfD if there are any doubts as to the subject's notability. In the very policy that User:Robert McClenon quoted, I read: "The proper way to get your own writing about yourself into Wikipedia if you really think that you can meet the inclusion criteria and are willing to accept having a neutral, non-promotional article, is to make a proposal at Articles for creation containing the text you want, instead of just putting it into the encyclopedia directly, and seek the consensus of the community through discussion."

- Delete I fixed the namespace problem (and then the DAB problem) but then evaluated the page. I'm not an expert on Indian politics but the office held appears to be a local office not state level. So he fails WP:NPOL. Most of the page is wonderful praise of his political skills - pretty much advertising. There is nothing redeemable about this page worth keeping. - Delete I'm loathe to G11 about person, but I agree as it sits it is overtly promotional. (ick) I also agree the subject does not meet WP:NPOL and I see little hope of it meeting GNG, etc.-- Dlohcierekim (talk) 17:22, 23 October 2018 (UTC)
